The famous Modica Chocolate has an Aztec origin (xocò-atl) and has been passed on from population to population: from the Aztec to the Spanish to become part of the traditions of Modica County, in Sicily.    The originality of Modica Chocolate derives from its making process, when the cocoa paste never overcomes a temperature of 35-40 C°, in order to preserve the sugar crystals which never melt, ensuring the typical nubby and rough consistency of the chocolate.   Mouth filling delicious taste, try  to believe it!
