12th to 14th of September: This weekend will take place in Ficarazzi (Aci CAstello), in Catania province, one of the most awaited Food Events in this area, the XIII Edition of the Festival of the ''Arancino', a filled rice ball, very typical in the region.

Next to the food exhibition and tasting, the event hosts several art performances, music bands, street artists and cabaret shows, attracting many visitors coming from other parts of Sicily and even other regions.

During the Festival , it is possible to taste several varieties of 'Arancini', from the most traditional ones, with Bolognese sauce or with butter, to the ones with mushrooms, aubergines, pistachios, to the most original ones, but yet inviting, with chicken, squid ink or nutella.
