Grillo is a white vine variety mainly present in West Sicily, especially in Marsala area. It is an authoctonous vine variety, characterised by round and yellow medium-large grapes. Grillo variety has been in the past centuries exclusive to Marsala territories and it has been fundamental within the production of Marsala wine.
