Peter Jakob Kühn's winery is one of the most innovative in all of Germany. He was the first to try vinification of Riesling in amphora. The 15 hectares of vineyards are almost all located around the estate where the family lives, and include historic vineyards in the Rheingau, such as Oestricher Lenchen, Doosberg, and Mittelheimer St. Nikolaus. All activities in the vineyard and cellar are directed toward taking and using only what nature is willing to give.
